Privacy policy
FitBite Desk keeps as little information as it needs to plan your week and remember what you ticked off.
Last updated 26 August 2026
What we store
- Your email address and an encrypted authentication record, so you can sign back in.
- Your routine setup: office days, approximate office start time, evening prep window and the meal slots you plan.
- Your food preferences, including optional supportive labels such as sugar mindful or BP mindful.
- Your weekly plans, saved desk bowls, favourites, grocery items, evening prep steps and pack checklists.
- A simple record of which days you packed a homemade meal, used for your own consistency view.
What we do not store
- Payment details — FitBite Desk does not take payments.
- Medical records, diagnoses, prescriptions or clinical measurements.
- Precise location, contacts, photos or microphone data.
How your data is protected
Your information is stored in a managed cloud database. Every table holding personal data is protected by row-level security rules, so records are readable and writable only by the signed-in account that owns them. Access happens over encrypted connections, and application code never ships private keys to your browser.
Preferences you choose are not health records
The supportive labels you can turn on are food preferences you select yourself. They are used only to filter meal suggestions. We do not ask you to confirm any medical condition, and we do not interpret these labels as a diagnosis.
About health information here
FitBite Desk helps you plan, prepare and pack homemade meals. It is a habit and organisation tool, not a medical one.
- It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or personalised medical advice.
- It does not treat, manage or cure diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol or any other health condition.
- Labels such as “sugar mindful”, “BP mindful” and “cholesterol conscious” are simple food preferences you choose — never clinical guidance.
- Portion cues are everyday visual guides, not calculated nutritional or dietary prescriptions.
Always speak to a doctor, dietitian or other qualified healthcare professional about your own health, medication and dietary needs.
Cookies and local storage
FitBite Desk uses browser storage for your sign-in session and, when installed as an app, a cache of the interface so it opens quickly. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking.
Your choices
- Edit or clear your routine and preferences at any time from Profile.
- Delete individual bowls, plans, favourites and checklist items from inside the app.
- Ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it — see the support page.
